Hi

Google doesnt seem to know the to what the maximum lift capacity is for the super major.
So do you know how much it can lift on the 3 point lift without damaging the pump?

I am certain your tractor will lift a ton (and probably more), provided the center of gravity of the load is right at the ends of the lift arms. If the CG of the load is back beyond the ends of the lift arms, the lift capability is reduced as moment arms come into play. At some point the front end of the tractor will come up rather than lift the load. I suppose this is why manufacturers will not address this issue.... too many variables.

For example, I have an 8 ft finish mower that weighs 1050 lbs. The center of gravity of the mower is 3-4 ft beyond the ends of the lift arms. My Ford 3600 front end becomes very "light" with the mower lifted. If the mower weighed 200-300 lbs more the front end would come up off the ground. I would need to add weight to the front end.

Another example, I was pulling 4"x4" posts set in concrete with the 3 point lift. It is amazing what the tractor lift can do. Rear tires "squat" and the posts com up, concrete attached in most cases. The lift just rips them out of the ground. Had a tree root grown over the concrete base in one case. The lift couldn't lift it, and I could hear the relief valve bypassing fluid. Cut the root and pulled the post.
