Yes, these were farm tractors. I have been asked about the manufacture date - production continued during WWII - and many similar tractors were produced for the military, but farming had to continue at home. These tractors were well suited for many purposes, and this one acquired a home-built dozer blade many years ago.
Oliver acquired Cletrac in the mid 1940's. I have an identical tractor with "Oliver" cast into the radiator shell; this one still has the original "Cletrac" casting.
