• A little background; I grew up farming with Two-Cylinders, primarily a 1953-60 & 1958 720D ES, along with various \"B\'s\", \"A\'s\" & an \"MT\" Dad bought as a \"saddle horse\" when I was 14. I spent a lot of hours & miles on the MT hauling hay & grain over the years. I\'d wanted a one-row (M or 40) for the last 50 years.

I ran across this little 40 on Kansas City CL last October, drooled over it for about a month before deciding to make the call. Picked it up November 8th, 2014. A week later, I was able to pick up a 5\' front blade that I could adapt to the 40 to push snow.

Finally got to the clean & paint phase this spring, the hood & grille had already been done, but the body of the tractor got covered with off the shelf JD \"Classic Green\". I will continue to use it for my snow pushing, shows & maybe some plow days.

The JD #20 3-pt dirt scoop has been in my family since 1964 when Dad bought it slightly used. I cut off the re-enforcing that had been welded to it after being used on bigger tractors, repainted it & new decals. The Continental post hole digger was purchased new by my Grandfather in 1956 when Dad bought a 3-pt hitch for his \'53-60 to use it. I built my 1-14\" plow from a frame & bottom I\'d taken off a 3-bottom when I had my \'58-520.
