that would place your Ebay name and current auctions on your "user panel" like near your location, etc display on each post so that you can promote your auctions and Ebay listings and people can know to buy from one of TF.com own.

Hope this helps...

Does anyone have any interest in this addition before I spend a lot of time on it? It would basically put a small EBAY symbol (if activated by user) on the left side user panel (near location etc) - same box as avatar and title. Then you could "activate" it in the user panel by adding in your "ebay auctions username" --- it would then allow people from the board to check your auctions and support the members here.

Does it make sense? :kookoo:

I personaly see no need for you spending your time on it. All a member has to do is add the URL Addy in the post of his/her item or the sellers items for-sale page.

I understand that a user can post a message every single time that he might have something for sale, but for the prolific Ebay sellers (if we even have any) it might be a nice feature. But I guess others agree --- so I will hold off on this feature for a while.
Thanks for the input, Johnbron.

I put things on e-bay and it would be nice, but don't do it just because a few of us "may" use e-bay once in a while. I don't have but two things left on there now and it may be weeks before I put anything else on. But thanks for the thought.

I buy tons of stuff off of Ebay, especially restoration parts for my old cars. Some great deals are out there, but you have to weed through the clutter to get what you want.

Especially with Model A parts, some sellers will buy from a Model A parts specialist and resell them on ebay for over 100% profit. Its crazy. They are the ones I stay away from.

I personally think that the EBay idea is a great one. That way if someone on here is selling something that would directly impact lawn and garden equipment, we would know about it.

Great Idea.
