heres a pic of hand start briggs i got a few years ago. it runs good does anyone know what these hand start models were used for?

the washing machine models have a kick start and the fuel tank is a flat square one. this one is slightly bigger than the washing machine model.

Maybe

a concreat finsher or a floor buffer i dont know. Nice old motor you have there though.

I have a mid fifties Empire walk behind garden tractor that could be had with a rope start Clinton or a hand start Ironhorse, I was told hand starts were sometimes options for when a lady would be using them suppost to be easier starting
