Went to start tractor and saw that glow plug light did not illuminate. Glow plug light has come on every engine start so was a bit concerned. Turned switch to "glow plug" and held for appx 10 seconds then turned key to start. Starter did not engage. Thought was low battery so tried to jump from vehicle after appx 20 minutes attempted to start without success. Glow plug light did not illuminate nor did starter engage. Switched vehicle to jump from (side post vs standard post), let sit for appx 20 minutes and attempted to start tractor without success. Glow plug light did not illuminate nor did started engage. Switched out battery in tractor (both batteries were same make, model and size) and again tried to start without success. Glow plug light did not illuminate nor did starter engage.

Closest servicer is 3 hour drive one way so would like to resolve myself. Im not a mechanic so dummy it down as much as you can.

Welcome to the forum. Is there any sound at all when your operate the key switch? Dead quiet, click or or any thing?
Could be a bad ground. Check to make sure your battery connections are real clean and then tighten them well. Try to start the tractor.
If that doesn't work, check, clean and tighten the other ends of the battery cables. then try again. If that doesn't work it may be a faulty ignition switch?!?

Update: first time forumer so not sure how to reply to the questions but here goes.........

Did clean connections on the battery end. Clutch in for start procedure. Key turn to the left (manual glow.plug) with no sound, no clicks and no light. Key turn to right first position gets me battery and engine lights. This is normally Key position for glowplug light. Key turn to right second position gets me nothing. No clicks, no starter noises nothing.

Have attempted to search for other end of wires but have not been successful. Anybody have a clue to where the relay or other components would be and how to test them? Have not checked fuses yet.
