Just my two cents worth on two tools that I have acquired over the winter that make trimming and small cutting jobs a breeze.....I love these two tools and am not sure what I did before I had them........Both seem to have really great battery life..........

I was thinking that one of those would be handy when I walk the dogs out in the woods. A few branches removed would make the walk a little more enjoyable and easy to do with one of those.

I bought this one to take on the side by side, tractors, trail riding with the horses and other of that type of stuff that I didn't want to take the higher priced Stihl one to use on and it works just as well and I like it just as good as the Stihl brand.....It is about half the price and the Stihl brand one is kind of hard to find......Local Rural King was on back order on them for a long time....I am looking at ideas to make a mount on my Kioti for both this and the cordless chain saw......Both handy tools to have on the tractor while bush hogging and stuff....The only down side to both of the small trimmers is they don't have an automatic oiler on them like the chainsaw does. I have a small metal oppps spot remover can that has a flip over plastic spout on the top that I carry, full of bar and chain oil with the saw and put a few drops of oil on the chain as it is needed.....A Zippo lighter fluid can would also work......

I have the brand name Ozito cordless gear, have a pole saw and a hedge trimmer attachment, remove the saw head and attach the hedge trimmer, I just recently bought the cordless chain saw and I also have the battery powered hand saw which I mostly use to cut the banana hands off of the stem.

Also have an Ozito weed eater and cordless drill, and a Ryobi 36volt weed eater.

Because of my age and shoulder issues, I like the cordless range for ease of use.

Good looking set of tools, Fred................Never heard of the Ozito brand but after Googling it, looks like an Aussie brand.....We have just about every 20 volt tool that Craftsman sells...............LOL.........I try to stick to the same voltage and brand so I have plenty of extra batteries............The misses loves her cordless weed whacker, too...........
Ozito is Chinese made and it is an improvement on a previous brand name, 18 volt power that seems to go forever, well almost, 3 years battery warranty and 5 years on the units, the pole saw will cut up to 10" diameter at a reasonable rate, same with the chain saw, an improvement could be made on the position of the safety start over-ride switches on the units, and the same goes for the 240 volt corded Ozito gear that I also have.

That small Amazon brand hand chain saw I did look at, that would be very handy for pruning and light trimming type work, I decided to get the cordless chain saw as being more to my now and then requirements.

And you have probably noticed the improvement in batteries in the last 6 years or so.

Major improvements in cordless tool batteries and the tools themselves.......I had a flat tire on a semi trailer about a year ago and the roadside tire bubba that came out had one of these.....I was amazed.....A complete beast and cordless to boot.....
