Does any one know if I can remove all my safety switches on my old Toro 322 diesel. I am so tired of trying to find new switches when one goes bad and my dealer is 30 miles from home, and I am not an idiot I do not get off the machine with the mower running, also as I am old and not knowing that much about wiring could you tell me how to do it. thank you very much.
I don't know much about a Toro groundsmaster, but I can find my way around a twelve volt system. If you wish to share some details of what you have, what you would like to change, maybe we can work out a plan to do some of it.
Safety switches on a 322 are pretty straight forward. They should be ...... Parking brake, Seat, Neutral safety, and PTO. I think I recall they are all N.O. (Normally Open) switches, which means a simple piece of 14ga jumper wire, or a blue butt splice defeats any one of them. Bypass at your own risk, I saw one go through a closed garage door like a Sherman tank in a WW2 movie because the neutral switch was bypassed.
thanks to you who replied to my question about the Toro. I am sorry I did not get back with you sooner but I had a little medical problem, again thanks and I will work on it when I am better.
