No, In spite of the title you will not see a frog in the picture. Well, at least if you do it will sure surprise me.

Test - Frog - 2

This is larger but you still won't see a frog, at least I don't think you will.

Still no frog, but hope I'm about to get him the right size.

No Mow, the reference to frog is really a note/code to myself, to help me remember where I have the picture stored that I have been experimenting with.

When, or if, I get brave enough, I’ve got a “story” to tell you folks on The Tractor Forum and it is mostly in picture form. I have been trying to “size” the pictures. Want a picture that will show full screen on the Tractor Forum page but didn’t want the reader to have to do a lot of scrolling up and down, left and right. Think I’m going to go with the last size, which is about 750 x 560 pixels. I’m using a free program to do the "sizing", while it seems to do a good enough job, it is hard to hit 750 x 560 right on the button.

I glad you got him Greg. I was never able to see a frog in the picture. Quite frankly, didn’t think there was one. Was he setting on the rock you circled?:) Did you get him before he got to the water?:) Hope he makes you a good pet.:)

While I was on one of the picture taking safaris for the story I mention above in replying to Mow, I saw this scene and though it would make a good picture. As with most anything I do in a attempt to be artistic, I failed. Maybe this time it wasn’t a total loss, you got a frog and I’ve had a picture to experiment with, without giving the “plot” of my story away.

Thanks Michael. I got it downloaded. I’ve even figured out where to find it when I get ready to use it. Boy, am I going to be dangerous now, being able to resize a whole batch of pictures at once.

Guess I missed it last year when you got word of it, Jody. You fellows gona have to start telling old dummy here to pay attention when y’all are passing out the good stuff.

Yeah I told Jody last year and I tell everyone about it, It is the easiest of all the image resizers I have seen and it does not interfere with any other programs. Plus it is simple.;)

John,

Had to look a bit but there he was... on the rock in the circle.

Got my hands full with the new pup...don't need even another pet, not even a frog! :dazed:

Michael,

Took a look at the "toys". Only for Windooooze. I use Adobe Image Ready and I'm learning Photo Shop. Only problem is I have 6.0 and have to run it in Classic OS. The upgrade to 8.0 for OSX is $129 so I'm waiting to see if I can really use it first.

Looking forward to this "mystery story" John is working on.

Greg,
I use Arcsoft PhotoStudio 4 for resizing. It came free with my dot Mac membership. It is not as full featured as Photoshop, but does fine for basic things. We have Photoshop Elements, which is like a lite version of Photoshop. I'm told it has most of the features of Photoshop. We are also on a Classic version which is fine, as long as Classic is already booted up and running in the background.

I'll have to check Versiontracker to see if there is a freebie image resizer for OSX.

If you're in a hurry, can always open an image in Preview (the default OSX viewer) and zoom in or out to resize the pic and then take a cropped screen shot (command shift 4) for a quick resizing. Note that if you are running OSX 10.3 (Panther), the screen shot will save as a PDF and you will have to save it as a jpg (Preview>File>Export) I don't know why it's that way. I think a screenshot used to save as a tiff in 10.1, then as a jpg in 10.2. I wish it would go back to jpg.

I'm looking forward to the mystery story too.:truth:
