Anyone have any insight into any of the machines or photos of the sugarcane planting/harvesting equipment? I am down in LA and really enjoy taking photos when I can...but most of the stuff today is so automated...I was wondering about the older stuff and also heard that the fields don't need to be raised anymore....at least not each year..more like every 5 or 6...

Anyone have any insight into this industry?
