WOW, I just stumbled on this posting.

Thanks folks.

The tractor is a total restore from Fredrick's Imports. They have fleets of these Yanmar and John Deere machines from the 1980's, restored like new with 1yr warranty. They even dyno the engines to ensure the machine is in spec.

I've put this machine to work horse chores like no other and it still likes more.

It has 2 identical siblings, YM2500, no power-shift version and a JD-850 in John Deere green.

Amazing to get a completely restored tractor for under $7K these days. New machines are in the mid-$20K with all that fancy computer stuff that put them in limp mode for a dealer just to change the fluids.

My dad had an 8N. My search was for a good one, but none at the time were available. A JD-850 was given to me with some troubles, it blew up due to an unschool diesel mechanic blunder. It was enough to trade in for this beautiful YM2610 that shares the same hardware.

Attachments:
- King Kutter 6ft brush mower with the HD stump hopper
- LMC Box Blade w/ 3 ground rippers
- King Kutter 6ft straight blade (gravel and snow)
- King Kutter 6ft 2-row+2-gang disc harrow
- International 9-in boom PTO auger
- 6x12 trailer
- 4x8 trailer in the works

Wanting a Yanmar rear PTO tiller. Restored by Fredrick's, these are $1K or less.
Got to sell my walk behind tiller first.

That's how life goes, little by little over the years collecting attachments. :)

The sweet part is ... ANYONE today can get the SAME deal.

Their process http://www.fredricksimporting.com/refurbishment-process

Their quality http://www.fredricksimporting.com/quality

They crank out close to 3 dozen tractors or more per week. They are sold rather quickly across the country to every day folks like us who just are scrapping by. If a person has 20K to spend on a Kobuta low end or an LS or others, why not a 7K, on a refurbished quality Yanmar and then take 3K for all new implements and pocket the rest.

One last link. What is available right now. https://www.fredricksoutdoor.com/yanmar

So, anyone can get a John Deere CUT in RED as a Yanmar without spend a bucket load of green. lol
