or the ones made by Brinly:

are they reversible so i could by running in reverse.. push stuff with them.. or are they only made for scraping forward?

I see Brinly says they can be reversed..

Yes, what i am wondering is if i can use a rear blade like a front blade.. not for plowing snow or anything.. but for push scraping low brush or pushing a pile of old grass clippings back into the woods..

The reason i say a rear blade.. is they are much cheaper than me buying a simplicity front blade and all mounting kits required to use one..

do they work well while going in revere and pushing.. not pulling?

You can push or pull as Jody said, the only down side is they aren't all that heavy so they tend to ride over anything that isn't already loosened. There really isn't any place on them to add a cement block unless you put a plate and a bolt on top to hold it. But that might interfere with the angling arm. I have used mine for grading and pushing stuff around including 4-5" of snow before I had the blower mounted. If you want to scrape, a box scraper with added weight works much nicer.
