Well your always welcome to send it down south my way. Last year and the year before last were pretty great as far as rain goes. It rained most every day for an hour or two, humid as heck, but made for some nice crops and green grass. So far according to our local forcast there is no rai in sight here for at least another week or better. They had forcast rain earlier for Wednesday and today but we did not get a drop. Lots of thunder and lightning, but no wet stuff.................Last it rained about 2 weeks ago we got 1 inch a day and it rained 2 days in a row.

Been bad here also FM. Not so much the rain, it's just when it does rain, it rains 2,3,4" at a time. You know a nice gentle rain for a day or two I don't have a problem with, but THIS is getting OLD!!

Sorry if the words offended anyone

Hi Folks,

Sorry if the words offended anyone. Thought some might appreciate the humor. As Partsman said, we Canadians love a joke!

Thank you Farmall Maniac

Thank you for sending the rain this way.......I appreciate it.

We got 4 inches today already, it cleared up for about an hour got all sunny and bright and now its been a good heavy steady rain for the last two hours. I guess (from past rain storms) we got at least two more inches with this current steady rain we have right now.

My pond fills at a 5:1 run off rate. One inch of rain is going to raise my pond level 5 inches or so, so I have quite a full pond right now, not that it was what I wold normally call low, but its only a few inches from being filled to the max and going out the spillway and drain pipe. Only problem there is the hot wire I have strung across the pond to restrain my geese from comming over to the bank where the garden and house is is under water, and the fish screen I installed only has about 2 or so inches until its under water in one spot. I had been meaning to get a piece of screen for this low area all week but they kept saying no rain in the forecast so I trucked on with other odds and ends, and then today its been one gully washer of a rain. The fish screen is nothing more than 1/2" hardware cloth that I put up in a section to restrain my koi and gold fish and to help protect them until they get bigger from the bass in the pond.

Picked out first ears of corn today..........and put some on the grill and it was great. Of course the goats ghot into the garden last night and trampled the snap beans and limas down, but they should still produce some more. The way it looks watermelons and cantalopes will be ready by the 4th of July coupled with some home made icecream made of goats milk and fresh eggs and peachs............Ummmmmmm ummmmmmmm good!
