This is one of the most powerful and emotional pictures I have seen in quite a while. It was the front page of the Washington Times....

As the election draws closer, we will see a lot more of these pictures that were hidden for the last year.

We hear about the casualties on a daily basis but they very rarely show pictures of dead GI's. They won't let the press near Andrews Air Force Base because they don't want pictures of all the bodies in black bags. Whenever I see a story in the local paper about a dead soldier, the picture accompanying the story is either a photo of that person in dress uniform or fatigues but posed somewhere at a studio, never a dead body.
