I know ErnieG is on the west coast but there is probably gonna be heavy rains yet again, and neil is on the east side and probably in the range of Jeanne so I hope you all come out ok. Your in our prayers.

I sure don't know what the Floridians did to pi$$ off momma nature but she sure has it in for Florida, and one can't help but feel sorry for Florida residents.

Someone needs to find that hurricane magnet and turn it off.
That sounds like a good mission for Bontai Joe, find the hurricane magnet and destroy it!

Chipster, I sit at this computer w/ winds in th 60mph range and driving rains... Got all boarded up for the fourth time... Think I can do it in my sleep... The 16 foot Express is ready to be launched just in case we get alot of rain . In excess of 10 inches should allow me to put in 2 houses down....Other than that everything is fine here in the state of liquid sunshine:furious:

PS Come to Fla and swim home. Thanks Charley, Frances, Ivan, Jeanne

Still can't contact my folks in Clearwater. They were ordered to evacuate Sunday morning and I talked to them at my Uncle's. Mom said she was going home Sunday afternoon no matter what. I don't think they got hit that hard. Hopefully, the phones are just out-Nobody answers and the machine doesn't kick in. Just get the machine at my Uncle's today.
They have packed three times and actually evacuated twice. They refused to go the time before this. I asked Mom if she was ready to start house hunting after this and she said she already had been. Hutch

Ouch! It hurts to see a Vette like that one. Gotta wonder what happened to the owner that he/she didn't move the car before the storm.

Found my folks. They lost some of their porch roof and the a/c won't come back on. Said some other folks had lost their roofs. Power and phone came back on about the time I wrote the original reply. Hope this is the last storm this year for all you Floridians. Hutch
