Well....long since update...but I got it running great.......just a fabulous engine....I love these old things....sounds great and built like a TANK!!!

That's great news about your Briggs Model A! Do you have any idea what the problem was? What did you do to get it to run?

Thanks, John. I had to replace the coil and the plug with a new one. It was a bear trying to locate a used coil yet for this model. I had to wait a couple months to find one in a trade. The plug I was able to locate. It is an amazing machine. Would love to run it to operate a pump or something interesting. It is built like a TANK and built to last!!!! Might have to video it running soon to share with the group!!!
