I can't help you -- what are you looking up ? about guns or the nazis? -- have you tried the local chamber of commerce? they used to track inportant events in many places -- bigl22

A Library in Skokie would probably have the local newspaper on file in microfilm. The trick is how to get access to that resourse from Minnesota. Perhaps your local library can get the info you need.

Stupid question.

Why skokie?

Did the event happen there?

Is it too local to have been covered by a paper with a bigger archive, or one you can get access to microfilms from?

Hi Farmie,

There's probably lots of info on them in the Chicago and New York papers. That kind of stuff used to big news in those days. Look at BigL22 being able to put 2 and 2 together and get six from memory that skokie in 78 was the Illinois Nazis!
