New 75A fuel delivery concern

I have concerns that there may be a fuel pump or restriction issue that I have recently noticed. The tractor has 140 hours now.

The glass filter bowl empties to 1/2 level when the tractor is started and stays at 1/2 to 1/3 level until the engine is stopped when it then fills to the top.
My concern is that with this screen filter, could it be sucking air to the injector pump which would be damaging to the injectors. I have replaced the glass bowl screen element and both spin on fuel cartridges with no change and even blown compressed air into the tank in case there may be a restriction clogging up the tank inlet.

Is this normal for a 75A to see this on the pre-filter screen or should it be full all the time?

Howdy guzzleBob, welcome to the forum.

If you were getting air into the fuel system, the engine wouldn't run. It seems that you have a fuel delivery problem from the tank to the sediment bowl.

Is there a conventional fuel (lift) pump between the tank and bowl? If so, it may have a plugged screen at the inlet, or maybe the pump has become marginal?

In addition, you may have a fuel screen at the fuel tank outlet?? My old Ford tractor has a fuel screen that attaches to the fuel shut-off valve at the tank outlet, and sits up inside the tank.

Thanks for the replys.

According to the dealsership's shop there is no lift pump in the tank. The lift pump is incorporated into the head of one of the spin-on fuel filters. From there is goes to the injection pump.
I was concerned that there may be something in the tank that was clogging up the intake so that was the reason for blowing compressed air from the glass bowl screen pre-filter back into the tank and it did not have any effect.

"Try it with the fuel filler cap removed, the tank vent may be blocked or restricted. "

I tried that after blowing out the tank line and there was no difference with the fuel level in the bowl.
