I saw a link to this brand of tractor site on another site..

I have never heard of them.. but thats not saying much:furious:

They are mountaineer tractors? The site implies they are 4WD and they look sort of interesting....

Anybody heard of them?

On a later post someone indicated that they tried to contact the montaineer folks but had no luck.. so maybe they are no longer in business..

The 4WD looks sort if interesting especially on a smaller tractor..

They were talked about alot at GW a while ago, but I don't think anyone went further than looking at the website. It seems to me that I saw them elsewhere being discussed and that there was great difficulty in contacting them. I remember now, here is a link:

It is a very long thread, but the guy does get in touch finally with the folks at Mountaineer.

yes joe, someone from the gw also said they tried to contact them and only got a referral #.

no call back.. too bad.. a 4wd garden tractor would be a 'very good thing'
