That is certainally different.

Next question is how do you know that they are all firing with the exhausts combined together and the shafts tied together. I can only imagine the tweaking and tinkering along with hours of thinking and drawing to accomplish that.

I wonder what kind of throttle linkage is used for the 24 motors? It probably has some kind of assist, unless the driver has a strong right arm.

Big waste of time and effort...lets say each chain saw puts out
at best 5hp? what do you got in total 120 Hp? you can buy it off the shelf with more HP and less headache....as a bike lover, i fail to see the value. To each his own....

I think you're missing the point of it Duc. Guys like this just do this stuff to see if it can be done. My hat is off to anyone with that kind of talent. I think they look at everything as an opportunity to build.

Your right because I dont have that type of talent to make something like that...I should have said that first before i said it was a big waste of time...I actually didnt miss the point, and i understand why people who build things actually do. I have plenty of friends who build things, from kit cars to airplanes and they are artists in their own right...

Now the motorcycle with the dodge viper motor in it, thats was different and really functional (except the top speed of 300 mph)
without any fairings, nobody would be able to hold on....I had my Vmax up to its limits too many times, and without good aerodynamics its difficult to say the least (at least 155 MPH)
The Ducati has the aero and it would feel nice at 160-164 mph)

Durwood,

It isn't just motorcycles. More to the point, it has been done with garden tractors. Here's an example of one with multiple engines. The owner/builder checks to make sure they are running by holding his hand over the exhaust. He only starts the first one and then uses it to start several others.

They're hard to count in the picture, but IIRC there are 19 engines on this 2 wheeler.

Your right George, it's about building anything different. It's also about having enough money to do it. Talent and money...of which i have little of either.:D
