I bought a second hand 2013 McCormick F85XL in January 2018. It has had numerous problems and I've just had it at the mechanic. It had several things repaired (new water pump gaskets, new timing case gaskets, new front crank seal etc) as well as a full 3000 hour service. It also had an electric fan added to aerate the aircon condenser because the engine shroud has (for some unknown reason) been removed. I finally got the tractor home a couple of days ago and after 1.5 hours of moderate work it overheated. I'm at a loss because it should be working fine. The radiator is clean and the coolant level is good. Any ideas?

McCormick did a change in the design of diesel particulate filters about then to allow auto-regeneration without the need of DPF. I would verify the condition of that filter if so equipped.
