First I want to thank you for all the help that I have received. I have used tractors most of my life but never had to work on one. This my first rebuild and the last thing I need to do is replace the o-ring on the lower flow tube on the Ford 4000 tractor. While reading the service manual, it was telling me to remove the snap ring. I was looking all over the tube and haven't found one yet. I did notice something bulging a little on the very top of the tube but I am not feeling an opening like a snap clip would have. Have any of you all done an o-ring replacement on this tube and if so, what will be the best way to tackle this project? The reason why I want to replace it is because I have noticed a small leak around the base of the tube thinking the o-ring has seen better days.
