Game 7 of the Cup Finals... Does anyone here care?
I hope the flames win.. how about our canadien members? you looking to get the cup back to canada?

So far its been a sort of ho- hum playoffs... but seeing as there probably wont be hockey next year.. im watching what i can...

I am watching the game as I type this. The 2nd period just started and Tampa has a 1-0 lead.

I am a Detroit Red Wings fan myself but hope Tampa wins as the owner of the Lightning also owns the Detroit Pistons. If Tampa were to win and the Pistons beat LA, I think that would be cool.

games over wasn't happy with the outcome if calgary would have played the first 2 periods like they did the third there might have been a little different outcome.through the whole series they needed to spend less time in the penalty box. just my 2 cents

I watched, but I don't really care who wins once Montreal's out. I know Ernieg was hoping for the bolts. I thought they played the better game.

The radio station we listen to here covers Brad Richards hometown, so they are pretty happy today. But it's the fourth year in a row there's been a kid from within 60 miles of here on the winning team, so it's not such a big deal. It surprises me though, since I remember the first local guy to even make a team in the big show!

its unfair for them with the exchange rate... plus look at the rangers.. biggest payroll crappiest team...


Hockey in florida... Its just wrong... no offense ernie.. and to think they won a cup while my Bruins are gonig into year # 22? without a cup..

owner lockout...

nowadays there are almost as many european players as canadian...

Why play in Russia for dirt money when you can come here and make 1-8 mill per year..

Sports have gone a strange route... Now that the season is over the owners are talking about a lock.. Really seems to be a big money problem, maybe the players need to step back and see who really pays their high salaries maybe then a true a true pay plan can be achieved... Aw ****, thats dreaming. There is no way any one player is worth a millon bucks let alone 10s of millions.. But I still pay to see my team and get bummed if the team doesn't step up to the pump and get the better players. We really are our own enemy when it comes to over paying these guys to just play a game....:furious: :furious:

By the way Hockey in Fla makes sense.... You get the best of both worlds.. Warmer winters and killer beaches in the summer. Just because it doesn't freeze very often here we been in the AC business a lot longer than you alls from north of the mason dixon line:furious: :furious: :furious:
