Hi just acquired an MT165, and looking for any manuals to help me look after it properly. Found the manual for the MT160 which looks similar, but if anyone has a 165 manual that would be great.

Welcome. Did you download the PDF at the top of this Mitsubishi section yet?

You need the engine manual of the S3L. This would be the only free available PDF download on-line without spend big money for something with little info in it.

Go to the RESOURCE MANAGER here on the forums and browse the pages for these S3L engine manuals.

Thank you! Our MT165 was sold to us as not starting from the key and thus with a discount, but info from this site helped me to understand which levers have to be in just the right place to satisfy all the safety switches and it starts from the key!

No I don't have the manuals for the MT165, but the MT160/180 manuals gave me the clues I needed. Would love to have the correct manuals, for it, TBH I struggled to follow the links to the manuals you mentioned above for the engine.

You can also type what you are looking for in the box at the top of the page that reads "Search Community". Then when the drop down appears got to Advanced Search. Go down to Search in Forums and scroll down to "Resource Manager. Select that and all manuals that meet your search criteria will be presented to you.
