A lonely little Allis sitting by the road along with some other stuff. Visited with the wife and she didn't know if it was for sale. Hope to contact the owner this weekend. The motor isn't stuck and the impulse snaps great in the mag. Oil looks pretty good in it. Maybe if he isn't crazy on his price, I can bring it back to life......

So, any progress in negotiating a price? Has it followed you home yet? I hope it has, because a fine machine like that should not be sitting there rusting away to nothing. Please let us know.

It turns out the owner is working out of state. I left a phone number for him to call and so far no reply. I'm going by his home today and see if I can speed things up a bit. Wish me luck......

Yesterday I drove the 75 miles to where the tractor was parked. Unfortunately for me, it was gone. I suppose he sold it and that may have been why I didn't get any response. I hope the buyer brings the old girl back to life and not turn her to scrap. While in the area, I checked out a Farmall M I knew about, without any motor or radiator. All else was there and even had good tires. It WAS scrapped........
