The forward/rev pedal linkage came off the top of transaxle. I finally got it back on but now I need to know how to get to the top of the transaxle to secure it. How can I take the rear sheet metal off to be able to get to the top of transaxle which is under the seat and gas tank? I'm tired of busting knuckles.

Well that wasn't successful, and since I am almost 78 I just can not roll around on the ground like I used to, I loaded it on the trailer and took it to a local mower repair facility. I know it will cost me, but the deck is off, so they don't need to charge me for that. Thanks very much for all the assistance. Maybe 15 or 20 years ago when I could waller around on the ground better it might have worked.

I hear you Bud...... If it wasn't for having two of these, I would have had to give up working on mowers and ATV's a long time ago. It's way easier when you can just sit in an office chair and roll around the work at our age

I am going to have to look into getting on of those, thanks
Cost depends on where you're located because they weigh about 350LBS for motor carrier shipping. They usually run around $1,400 with the side extensions for mowers and ATV's. Just Google "Motorcycle lift Table" and you'll need the side extensions. The ramps detach, so you can roll right up to an engine with the lift down and work on it sitting in a rolling office chair. If you need to work on the deck or a clutch, just raise the lift to the height you need to still work out of the chair, they almost all raise 32-34". Here's the cheapest deal I could find today and they are out of Biloxi, MS. They say $549 and free shipping. That's what I paid for my 1st lift 15 years ago and you know what they say about "to good to be true"..... Stay away from the Harbor Freight one. They are not air-operated, they are to narrow for mowers, don't sell the side extensions, and they are poorly made
