Started it up and lifted front bucket off ground then put selector in low range, pressed on forward pedal and nothing happened. Pressed on reverse pedal and nothing happened. All other hydraulics seem to work fine. Front loader, up, down, bucket tilt up and down. PTO works, power steering works, 3 point hitch works up and down. Forward and Reverse pedals seem to have no resistance when pushed. Drained hydro fluid and changed filter this last spring (5-6 month ago). Service manual I have does not address this issue. Didn't find much on the internet either. Anyone have a suggestion as to where to start looking?

Update, removed the hydraulic canister and filter (left side) and nice creamy oil drained out. How did water get in hydraulic fluid. I guess the system will have to be flushed out. That should be interesting.

Water can get in many places..... may also be due to a bit of condensation. I think it would be a bit tough to get water in unless an oil fill bung was loose.
