Good to know never thought of that guess they need something that shuts it down when its in a wreak that way it wont have chance to move. Thanks for the heads up.

Yea, I can see some other ramifications here. Sooner or later one of these will be in a nasty accident involving fire and there will be a wicked explosion or something and we will start rethinking the battery car thing.

They should probally some how tie the engiene kill into the airbags

Adam i thought of the same thing but the airbags don't go off in all wreaks just in frontal crashes.

Thanks Stewart, it is something to think about. If fuel cell and compressed natural gas cars become more common explosions without warning would also be a concern.
