Well, yesterday I had to bring the 8N down the road to my Mom's house to do some work.[about a mile] Stopped in to the gas station on the way to fill up, and to check the air in the tires. Well they were REAL low. The front's had about 12psi, and the rear's were under 10. How much should I be running? The front tires are old 16" truck tires, with a max PSI of 45. They are REAL dryrotted, so I only brought them up to 25. The rears I brought up to 15PSI, and I did not see a max PSI listed on the tire. What should I be running?

Paul, truck tires are fine --- lots of people use em --- you might want to look at getting the 3 ribbed tires for the fronts when/if you make that leap --- but treat em for now as standard truck tires (keep in mind the dryrotted condition) --- I am assuming that with the truck tires, come truck rims --- so you might want to check out some boneyards --- there a ton up in NY and if I recall there is at least one COMPLETELY N-RELATED boneyard in NY. Let me see what I can find for you on this....

Well the wheels seem to be early 8n wheels. No holes for weights. Someone had told me the orangle ones did not have the holes.

Would love to have the info on the N junk yard. I will be needing some stuff when I start working on it. Thanks
