Got chance to play with the backhoe again, had to dig across 2 driveways, laying down coax cable from my folks satelite dish to my house.:eek: :D

This is one ho my wife don't mind me spending time with,, especially when it gets her satelite channels!:lmao:

That's the way to do it. When I was laying satellite cable we had a small 3HP trencher but it did not take kindly to stones. We hand dug if we crossed a gravel drive. Fortunately I only had to do that a few times. We done our best to talk the customer into another location if at all possible. The stones cut through cable over time like a knife if it is not deep enough.

We put the cable through some pipe to cross the driveways, so hopefully the stones won't cause too much grief!:rolleyes: I guess I'll know why if my TV goes blank.:dazed:

I can do some digging with the hoe now, it still ain't real pretty to watch, but I am getting better.:D The contracters still don't have anything to worry about!:lmao:

BA,, if you got any openings in Jan, Feb, I might consider it,,, it would beat feezing my a$$ here!! :lmao:

You should be fine then. :thumbsup: Just be sure to keep it well covered until the soil compacts down.

Now you can add two more vocations to your resume. Back Hoe Operator and Cable Burial Technician. :D

:lmao: I never thought of that,, i would have just said "Jack of all trades" ,, the Cable Burial Technician" definitely has a nicer ring to it!:D
