we live on a dead end 5 year old development...
I basically bribe the kids with little toys along with their candy... we started getting only a handful of kids.. now we are up to about 30-35

walmart, they sell the little skeletons, i painted them flourescent, the graves are just patio stones.

I was gonna set up a haunted hayride this year with my tractor/cart filled with hay and the skeletons... and a big skeleton in the seat, but i am sort of anal and did not want the little kids scratching/touching my tractor... i may still do it...

hi its blood.. The rats also courtesy of walmart. 2 types, bubber and with feathers and bloody fangs.

It seems that walmart does not come out with much new stuff each year...
The skeletons took me about 4 years to accrue. They would only have a few at the beginning of halloween eacxh year and id buy as many as they had..

This year my walmart only had 1 skeleton, but i have a small family of them by now so i did not need any more..

The only nice thing they had this year was a raven. they had them last year, but this year it was open winged and creepy..

How about glow in the dark paint for the skeletons?

i use florescent paint on the skeletons and i have 2 sets of 2, 4 Ft black lights, plus a fog machine.
I did put glow in the dark in the eye sockets of the skulls on the steps, but it did not do as much as the florescent colors under the black lights...
one more thing, i strung up a web with florescent rope and hang that down from the 2nd floor. (no good photo) it all glows pretty well but if its rainey, that a drag...

I don't do Halloween..... But my crazy wife will probably pass out candy to about 500 kids, hopefully while dressed in something seductive....

We live too far out of town for kids to come trick or treatin', so Halloween is just another day here.

My wifes birthday is Halloween day and our younger daughter's birthday is the 28th, so on Halloween my wife takes our kids in costume around to the neighbors and relatives and I stay home and pass out candy to the li'l ones.
