My friend had one of them chainsaws for his L model. We fooled around with it for awhile and it put new meaing into using a chainsaw. The old handheld Homelite ZIP and WIZ chainsaws of yesteryear for as heavy as they were to hold and use, were childs play as compared to using that attachment on a Gravely.

Now if it wa able to be mounted at a right angle to the tractor and have the bars flat sides parallel with the ground it would have made a super brush cutter. The only one in any danger was the helper as you could not get further from a cutter bar and danger area than you did with this attachment. The big old ciruclar saw attachment was also a pretty unique item.
