You can’t overstate the value of a good tow hitch.
I’ll bet he’s glad he bought one.

That's what I was thinking. Something happened that started it to fishtailing. I saw two different guys do that within a weeks time several years ago. One was towing a old pickup truck with no bed on a trailer with the engine way past the back wheels. The other guy was towing a very large hog with a Chevy S10. The hog decided to lay at the back of the trailer. Proper load balancing makes all the difference.:lmao:

I think the biggest problem was the large lack of common sense,It really burns me to see some idiot pulling 6000lbs behind something that weighs 4000lbs then can't understand how he could possibly have a problem

I tow a boat much larger than that one and manage it just fine. It is within the factory rated towing capacity of my truck. In the picture shown, the driver pulled over to take a rest break at a scenic rest stop and forgot to set the emergency brake and evidently did not put the trans. in gear. The truck and boat attached to it rolled forward and over the edge. That boat weighs maybe 4,500 lbs. - 5,000 lbs. tops. This picture was in Boat US's Insurance magazine a few year back.

Your point makes mine,You have the common sense, and use it wisely, but with what I see on the road every day there a much larger % that don't, and that's the scarey part

I agree with you 110% there! Too bad there is not some kind of common sense test to get a drivers license. :D ;)
