Looking to sell my 1951 Pontiac Chieftain (Canadian version). Electrical has been completely converted from 6 volt to 12 volt. Interior is original except the rug. Runs great for a 52 yr old car. Starts quickly upon startup. Very rare as this is the Canadian version of the Chieftain

I was getting ready to start restoring, but have decided to move further into restoring the Model A's and T's (another words, I found a project I would like to take on more than the Pontiac.

The brakes are newly restored, the radiator has been rebuilt, a new alternator has been added. It is a three speed on the column.

I can provide more pics as needed.

I am looking to get $5,500 for this vehicle.

If interested, PM me and I can arrange a time to show the car and take a test ride. I live in Eastern Connecticut.

Leo

Real nice car, I just don't have the space or money!!!!! This Christmas thing really hurts the pocket! I like to see the old cars out and about instead of in a collection somewhere. My wife wants an old MG rag top someday. I need a bigger shop for such things, I hate leaving nice vehicles out side in the elements.
And besides I can use it for justification for the shop!!!! Good luck on the sale I think it will go quick.

Will get pics of engine and interior ASAP.

Still needs restoration, but is well on its way as it drives really well. I took it to and from work several times this summer and it rides really good.

The bumpers will need replating, will also need a new paint job as it isn't show quality by any means. Important thing is it has all the parts which is rare and even has extra parts for key breakable items (taillights (2 extra) turn signal lights, extra hubcaps). The radio still also works as I had it rebuilt with new tubes last summer. Has new belts, a brand new spare tire, new side mirror.

Seat upholstery is original (and ugly) with no tears or wear.

Will post pics

I have one of the interior front seat, but that was all I could get yesterday. I have to wait til the suns shining to back it out and get additional pics of the engine, trunk, headliner, etc.

I will upload the pic of the seat today.

The other secret doc is almost done. Will email to your email within the hour.

You will not that the pattern of the seat is original, but also butt ugly (in my opinion)

The weatherstripping needs to be replaced on all doors and trunk lid and the decorative windlace also needs to be replace on the door interiors. That is minor stuff. The interior light lense is the only part that needs to be replaced (to my knowledge) as it has a cracked lense. I see them on ebay all the time for less than $10.

This car has many parts that are interchangeable with 1951 Chevy parts.

You will also note that these pictures were taken this summer. You will also notice that the gas pedal is not in this picture as I sent it out to get it repaired. It is now in an working fine.

I've been playing Mr. Mom to the twins for the past week. They have both been sick with colds and mom had to work.

I have also been really sick which doesnt help matters anyways.

I took more pics, but I just got to upload them to HP's website to post them here.

Hope you had a great Christmas
