This is a pic of our yard from the 2nd story window. The fog hung around all day and sure made it feel more like "Winter around the corner..".

Sure is a pretty view you got there.

We get fog/mist like that lots of mornings. I'm not sure how much contribution the sugar mills make to the overall moisture in the air.:dazed:

6er,

I was having some problems loading and stopped it...then came back to try again without realizing it had partially posted. I then tried to delete the first one but it said I didn't have permission to do that. It looks like some nice person did it for me!!:D

I thought if yours was the first post in a thead you could delete it? Guess not? Ok I learned something new!:D

So what's the story with the fog? Is that normal for your area this time of year?

Looks my place on Halloween!

I sort of like the looks of Fog. That is as long as I don't have to get out and drive in it...........

Since this is the first year we have actually had a fountain in the pond and with it going 24/7 ......since the temperature has cooled down so much in the evenings, the fountain really makes this place all foggy.........and then when you have all the underwater and under the fountain lights its really neat......Can pretty well tell how cold it is outside by the amount of fog produced........

I think the foggiest place I have ever been was in Bremerton when I was there in the 60's visiting my brother who was stationed there in the Navy at the time. He was going to show me around Seattle and some other places one day and it was so foggy you could not see a darn thing....

Jody,

Thanks for deleting the other one. It was actually kinda cool (pun) with the fog.

6er,

We get quite a bit of fog here in late Fall/Winter. Low clouds in from the coast/Sound roll in and get stuck here. Our area has a lot of evergreen trees as well as maples etc.

Definitely T'ick o fog today!

A friend of mine called his boat that (T'ick o fog). We used to get lots of fog when we lived on the Atlantic coast side. Now that we're farther away from the cold water, we hardly ever get fog.

But your view sure looks pretty, Greg. Any water view when the fog burns off?

We are having our first real winter storm today. So far only rain here, but Halifax has some snow down now and the Mounties were asking people to stay off the roads.

Jim,

No water from the house. Couple of lakes about 30 min away. Puget Sound about 45 min. We're about 700 above sea level and about 2 - 3 degrees different than Seattle temperatures. Colder in Winter...hotter in Summer.
