I just finished posting some safety stuff in hopes we can all avoid any bad accidents, when I find a site promoting farm tractor racing on an oval track. It might be ok to watch, but I'm sure I don't want to participate. Here is a link to info for the Oct. 2004 race just held:

Just proves you can race anything with wheels!:D From the link it looks more like a tractor mud bog than a race.:rolleyes: I could go for tha race idea, but I can get muddy enough just working a tractor without looking for a mud hole!

The two tractors that come to mind is the pre1945 John Deere B they could go around 18 MPH, maybe a win. I think that the old Molines were also that fast. Alice was always slower. The rest I don't know.

Unless it is a challengingly small oval it would be boring. Unless you get into bullying etc. Winning through intimidation!

Hey I have an old N with a Sherman combo trans in it. In 4 over top she moves faster than I want to take her.
