i tried to post pics of lifting my cats out of the dirt and it tells me yhe file is to big but i have posted pics before the same size?

Yep. I was messing with showing all attachments and set some dimensions for the "shown pic" --- but it would really slow down the dialup users etc, so I took it off.... Well, I forgot the remove the width x height pic size limitations! --- So, it is fixed now - Bear --- sorry for the problem!
