kind of reminds me of the manual i got with my chain saw...
The picture showed a guy taking the saw to his own arm.. it had a big X through it as if to say "do not do this" :night:

Kind of obvious to the normal person.. but i guess they have to do it to prevent being sued...

What is wrong with the pictures? He just needs to lean into the hill or may be disable the seat switch wo he can stand on the mower deck and really lean in to the hill......how dumb!
It is a sad state of affairs that the tractor folks have to put things like that in the instructions. I heard it somewhere that the reason they have to do things like that is because some did it and then sued.:argh:

Kind of like the lady and the coffee at McDonalds, she spills it in her lap and they pay...duh coffee is HOT!!!!

Argee --> Yup, was surfing and ran into it.

Steward --> I agree, we have to disclaimer everything in order to not get sued.

BTW, what is wrong with the few hills where I lean out very far like I'm in a catamaran?

Anyways, thought I'd put this in the safety forum because I remember from time to time we do have people who ask the questions related to this and hills and mowing them.
