Got an 06 Case superM. Rebuilt swing cylinders about a year ago. Gradually got sloppy. More play right and left. Recently while just slowly returning the boom to center position I heard a very loud BANG, and lost control (at least in one direction) of the swing completely. I've got the lock pin the backhoe so I can still use the front end loader.

Anyone have any idea what happened and how to fix it?

thanks

Howdy Larry, welcome to the tractor forum.

I cannot find an 06 Case superM tractor on the internet. Have you checked your swing cylinders, epecially the one on the side that is not functioning.

OH OH!! did you have all the lines off the cylinders at same time? If you got them wrong you should check and see if they are correct if they are not they will be fighting each other. It is easy to get them wrong.
I removed both of my swing cylinders and rebuilt them. when I put the back with new hoses took awhile of studying and the book helped tremendously. If they are wrong the spool may have to be fixed?
Good luck hope it ain't too expensive.
