Hi folks,
I just replaced some parts in my Craftsman DGT 6000 carburetor (Nikki).
The accelerator pump diaphragm was torn up and the bowl o-ring was broken. Apart from that this only needed a good cleaning, which it got.
Every image, diagram and text I see mentions a screw on top of the carburetor, listed in the engine manual as the "Idle Fuel Adjusting Screw". My carb doesn't have this. It dawned on me today that it may be there but just a piece of it, broken off.
Someone told me "maybe the manufacturer decided there's no need for the mixture to be adjusted so they set it and sealed it" but wouldn't the manuals reflect this?
Hoping someone can compare with their DGT 6000 and let me know.
Thanks!
