Certainly a simple enough mounting system........pretty neat idea IMHO........

What ever weight system used, personally I hate the concrete filled plastic weights....they look good at first but a nick or scratch here and there and soon that plastic is cracking and falling apart.....

You can buy the Olympic style iron weights with the 2 inch hole or the standard iron weights with the 1 inch hole at Walmart for about 75 cents a pound on sale but I would suggest yard sales and flea markets first. Might be able to find a real bargain.
