We just parted out a 1450 olliver, and it was one tough pup! There were a couple of broken rocker arms, 1 bent and 1 broken push rod, and the crank was broke. The strangest part is, it was still RUNNING!!!:eek: A broken crank isn't all that odd, but where it was broken is.

It broke between the front main and the front rod journals. Only thing I can figure is that something jammed up in the timing gears, or it took a smash on the pulley. There was no breakage in those parst though, so I guess it will stay a mystery

That was one stubborn old tractor! ;) Its a shame to see them get parted out but at some point they are just not worth saving. :truth:

Chief, these one are getting hard to find parts for, they were built by Fiat, and Fiat no longer supplies parts.:rolleyes:
