It can be done, the algae is the good way but the reactor build and maintaining hygiene for the algae is the problem. It will make sense if price for diesel goes very high or other unforeseen issues “banning ice engines” or regulation.
The interesting part is the remaining heavy-oil that can be used as is or further processed to grease etc. basically reinventing the oil revolution in a smaller scale. Scary that people have to resort to this things.
The de-industrialization of Europe/USA and misguided young people on both sides of the Atlantic with have a rude awakening in a possible war with Russia/china. Let’s hope we don’t get there 🤞🤞🤞
