Jody, I think John Kerry is the one who caused his heart attack. Kerry has screwed up so bad with his campaign and decissions he has made that Bubba blew a gasket.

As much as I dislike and don't care for Bubba, I put in a prayer for his speedy recovery. Not my place to wish ill on him. :truth:

Bill was surely not my favorite president. While his moral character leaves much to be desired, I don't think he was the worst president in recent history. (That dubious honor may have to be awarded to Mr. Carter).

While I am a staunch Republiucan, I am an American first and foremost. I wish Mr. Clinton the best and pray he has a speedy recovery. He is an ex-President of the United States of America and both he and the office he held deserve the respect of every American. God bless.

Like the rest of you, I had little or no respect for the man but a high one for the office. Nor do I wish him any harm but it sure is a good thing this didn't happen while he was still in office because Al Gore might have gotten to be Pres. This also might mean we could change the Constitution to let Arnold run for Pres. without having to worry about Slick Willie running for a third term.

Reuters reports that Bill Clinton is giving the hospital staff a hard time. "Every time he sees a female intern on the ward, he pushes the call button and says that his catheter needs adjusted," said a member of the nursing staff. "It's pretty embarrassing. He won't keep his hospital gown on and we're obviously keeping the candy stripers as far away from his room as possible."
Meanwhile, Monica Lewinsky denied rumors that the former president has been calling her at night on his bedside phone. "Hell no," she said. "I'm sorry he has chest pain, but I lost my respect for the scumbag when he called me "That Woman" on national TV. Does he think I'm a whore or something? I tried to protect him once and look what I got in return -- subpoenas and dry cleaning bills. The whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth!"

Senator Hilary Clinton's spokesperson told reporters today that Senator Clinton will be unable to go to the hospital during husband's quadruple bypass heart surgery due to an unavoidable commitment to travel to Palm Springs, California, where she has an appointment with her manicurist. Chelsea is also unable to pay dear old dad a visit either as she is slated to make a special appearance in a dog show in Albania, as the shows main attraction.

But Janet Reno the ever so faithfull whatever you want to call it will be standing by slicks side with a power of attorney in hand just in case!

The latest reports don't mention an actual heart attack but say he was seen by his doctor in the hospital yesterday after complaining of chest pains. He had some tests and was sent home for the night. Today they admitted him for a quadruple bypass tomorrow.
Hillary cut short some politicking in upstate NY to join him in the hospital.
All jokes and political beliefs aside, it must be a scarry feeling to have to go through it! I wish him well!

I hope he gets through this OK and that he has a speedy recovery.I like the guy and liked him as President.I know very few agree with me on that on this forum.But thats the way I feel I hope he lives a long life and is not another example of the good die young.I personally did not make a deal out of his sex life while president.I never agreed with it but that was his business and Hilliarys.Im not going to believe for one minute that any other past or present presidents were not having a little extra presidential activities on the side if they were still young enough to?I feel most were not young enough.Presidents get alot of bonuses were not aware of.Camp David is not there only pastime.What the President wants he gets.

The big question is how is this going to effect the election? Is this a ploy by the Clintons to divert attention from John Kerry and to ensure the way is clear for Hillary in 2008? I wonder if the talking heads will touch that one?
