The 12 Cylinder Le Roi looks to be a late forty or early fifties vintage. They made 3 different sizes of the V12, 2577 cu inch model RXSOV had a 6 1/4 bore, 2787 cu inch model RXSV had a 6 ½, and 3006 cu inch RXISV had a 6 ¾; they all had 7 inch stroke! They were rated at 800 hp, but that one look a little tired and is probably putting out pert near 600 hp. Since it was ran on Natural Gas the engine is probably really clean. These engines were also used on Plymouth Locomotives 35 tons model in the early fifties and electric power plants on some coastal island.
Who know if it is running good, were to get parts who the heck knows; either (not with I but with a E) way it to heavy too ship and what the heck would any one use it for? I am rambling and I need to stop, but $100 is a good buy!
