the lever is too tight. Can it be adjusted there is plenty of grease in it what can be adjusted?

What tractor are you talking about? I presume that you are talking about the 3-point lift control?

Typically the lift lever shaft is rusting internally in the housing/ You need to get penetrating oil to the internal shaft of the lift lever. Spray it repeatedly till it frees up.

Position control and draft control are entirely different animals to adjust. I presume you have the more common position control?

That is position control and acts directly on the rockshaft valve to raise and lower the upper arms. Lot less linkage too. Draft control entails linkage and a stop block to sense the pull of any ground engaging implement and lift it automatically if the implement encounters a tough spot underground. As a rule, smaller tractors don't have it as they aren't meant for ground engaging implements like moldboard plows.
