So I bought an Ariens s-16h this Thursday, and have been working on restoring it into working order for farmwork. I have a few main issues I do not know how to remedy, and they all deal with the hydraulics. First is the hydrostatic drive will not disengage, next is that even if I flip the little lift lever between the two positions, I cannot get the 3 point lift to work separate of the front, making the plow I have on the front go down when I’m trying to lower the lift arms. I’m thinking it has something to do with the
Sunstrand transmission, and maybe even the hydraulic hoses are in the wrong ports.
