Allis got into compact diesel tractors with the 5040,5045and 5050 tractors thy were built in Romania by U T B (universal tractor brasov)a 40 horse prototype 5040 was shown to dealers in fall 1974 an shipmnts began in late 1975 . U T B tractors were licensed under FIAT of Italy 5040 was offered as a utility tractr wth adj frnt end 40 pto hp 3 cyl dsl 148 cubic inch 6 an 9 speed creeper trans tht was replaced in 1979 by synchronized 8 an 12 speed tranny 2 stage clutch for continous power take off had category 2 3point hitch tht lifted 2600 pnds at lift points it was bult from 1975 -1980 an replaced by the

5045 which had an estimated 44 hp motor 158 cubic inch had 8 speed transmssion 12 speed creeper wasnt a sellin point only 499 5045 were imported it was only built in 1981

model 5050 was 51 hp 167 cubic inch3 cyl dsl 51pto hp at 2700 rpm was available wth 8 or 12 speed creeper trans front wheel assist was available on this tractor it was built 1977-83

allis also imported trctrs from Toyosha of Japan in 1977 the 5015 , 5220and 5030 .The 5015 was 3 cylinder while the 5020and 5030 were 2cylinders 5015 had 9fwd 3 revrse synchonized trans and frnt wheel assist was available and cat 1 3pt hitch he 5020 an 30 had 8 fwd 2 reverse which was later changed to a 12 spd wth a creeper PTO an hitch was similar to the 5015 Front wheel assist was available on the 5020 but not the 5030 These tractors were economical bak thn n still used 2day I thnk Ford even had compact line bak at this time from Japan hope this wasnt too long :thumbsup: :band:

I own a 5030, great tractor and a beast for its size. Parts for most of it are still available, but if the engine itself should go the internal parts are almost impossible to find. Mine has 1700 hours and still runs strong, burns no oil, hoping to get many more years out of it.
