do you think 300$ is a reasonable price for a 1971 Allis Chalmers 206?

All depends on what shape it's in, I suppose. Maybe the owner is selling it because parts are no longer available?!?. If you do buy it and it gives up the ghost, you could probably part it out to get some of your money back.

rust(old age) and it starts but I don't have any pictures because there are too many boxes of parts and tools around it.
