Hello JZ. If you have fire shooting out the carburetor, then you do have spark. Seems to me the carb may be set a little too lean.

1952 Ferguson TO-30: Will not start
I am restoring a 1952 Ferguson TO-30. I have reassembled the tractor and when I went to start it for the first time, it would not start, then it shot fire out of the carbonator.
We have confirmed that there is spark.
Help would be appreciated.
